Light-artist Juha Rouhikoski was participated The KIAF 2012, Kathmandu International Art Festival.

english Juha Rouhikoski tells: "For the Kathmandu International Art Festival I will create a light-art work ”horizon” which is a part of the ”horizon” –series. The series started in 2009 with ”red horizon” and was continued with ”blue horizon” in 2011.  The work was created in strong spirit of art movement minimalism. It is an experiment of light, color and space. The athmosphere of the artwork has strong connection with the theme of KIAF 2012 "Earth, Body, Mind".

The work for Kathmandu is titled simply ”horizon”. It consist of the same technical elements as the earlier versions except its colors and size. The colors of the horizon are based on the perceptions of natural light phenomena during my journeys in Nepal 2012.
The work will be manufactured on site to meet the requirements of the exhibition space.

Valotaiteilija Juha Rouhikoski osallistui Katmandun Taidefestivaalin 2012.
Hän  kertoi Festivaaliteoksestaan: "Kathmandu International Art Festival 2012 -tapahtumaan valmistan valoteoksen horisontti -sarjastani. Horisontti –sarja alkoi vuonna 2009 ”punainen horisontti” –teoksella, jota seurasi ”sininen horisontti” 2011. Teos syntyi voimakkaassa minimalismin hengessä tutkien valoa ja värejä sekä niiden muodostamaa tilallista kokemusta. Teoksen luoma tunnelma peilaa vahvasti Kathmandun festivaalin teemaa "Earth, Body, Mind".
